Why is gas fee so expensive using bridge?

Hi! I just wanna find out what is the payment I pay apart from gas fee in the case I transfer wETH to ETH using aptos bridge

I’d expect Aptos to have removed gas fees completely in web3.

Why is a seller charging product or service fees then again ask for gas fees besides tax ?

This is a nuisance and a big low for web3 :-1:

It depends I think of the service u use. Just waiting layerZero and feel almost free from gas) BTW: what service did u use?

I share this sentiment as well but on the flip side gas is an effective deterrent to attackers.
