Tutorial deploying Squid in SubSquid

In this article, I will walk you through step by step on how to set up your first Squid.

  1. Go to the page https://app.subsquid.io and log in using your preferred method.

  2. After logging in, go to the Squids tab and click on Deploy squid.

  3. A window with Squid settings will open.

  4. You need to choose the name of our Squid and the blockchain type in the second step.

  5. After you have chosen the name for your Squid and the blockchain type, you can proceed with deploying the project. I selected the name “my-first-squid” and the EVM blockchain type. The name can only be chosen once and cannot be changed later during operation.

Next, you need to install Node.js (for those who haven’t installed it) to run npm packages. You can download the latest version of Node.js from the website https://nodejs.org/en
