The appearance of NFTs (ordinals have doubled in a week) and memecoins (BRC-20 standard, with which they are having massive minting) is congesting the Bitcoin network considerably.
They have been talking about this for months: Are NFTs in networks like Bitcoin an advance or does it mean “dirty” the network with useless information?
