The creator of the recently collapsed cryptocurrency exchange was taken into custody there, in the Bahamas, on December 12. The basis for the arrest was an official request from the United States, since a criminal case had been opened against the former head of FTX. The state charged Bankman-Fried with a litany of counts, including fraud, money laundering and campaign finance violations. It’s so interesting why they didn’t imprison his father, because his father did everything through him, because he has connections and influence?
