Teaching you about Node operators

node operators are individuals or organizations that run and maintain nodes in a decentralized network. They set up and maintain the necessary infrastructure, participate in the network by connecting their nodes, and ensure the smooth operation of their nodes. They may store and validate data, contribute to network security, and engage with the network community. Node operators play a critical role in supporting the functioning and integrity of decentralized networks.

would it slow down the laptop very much? Using a Asus TUF gaming F15

No, it wouldn’t. You might need to allocate sufficient resources (CPU, memory) to each node to avoid performance issues.
