So what's the huge different points about APTOS and Abitrium?

but i start to learn crypto echosystem recentally, and it’s that not diffrent as i see from now.
can you guys kindly help to my eyes open?

For starters Aptos is L1 and Arb is L2.

They are different in many ways ie: consensus, security, language etc.

Aptos is a Layer1, Arbitrum is a Layer2 that operates on top of Ethereum, but it’s faster and cheaper than Ethereum. I think we can say Aptos is more complex, it can be a competitor of Solana, another L1.
