Reports have surfaced that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is investigating alleged violations of federal securities laws among DeFi (decentralized finance) services.

This is not a surprise. But if a service is truly decentralized, it is going to be difficult to stop it, not even mentioning sending subpoenas.
