Newbie but hungry for learning about blockchain

well my experience on crypto and blockchain is still younger than other people. node is still very new for me, but i know need to progress on blockchain with learning something new every day. I still have a long way to go to understand the whole nature of blockchain. therefore I can only continue to raise myself to continue learn what is meant by nodes and running validators. This is part of journey to get to know the aptos project.

Hi there! I think a lot of people are also in a similar position as you. The blockchain/crypto world moves fast and it can be intimidating at first, but the awesome part about the Web3 community is that most people are more than willing to help you if you have certain questions. Did you have a specific question on anything? If you are looking for more direct info on Aptos there is a thread in #edu that has a lot of great info. If you are just looking for more general crypto knowledge then I highly recommend you take advantage of youtube “what is a node crypto”. I would recommend this short video on nodes (this video is based on bitcoin (Aptos operates differently), but I think it’s important to understand the basics first and then learn more about other layer-1’s(Aptos is a layer-1))

There are also some decent resources in this guide: https://twitter.com/ljin18/status/1479111931977867275

Best of luck to you!

很想了解,有没有中文视频?谢谢!

Hello, Discord and youtube are amazing resources that you can use to access in depth tutorials on these topics. There are many different topics being explored at all different levels. While youtube may be more general you can also go directly to projects of interest and learn from the devs and communities that make up the project itself. The important thing is that you are motivated to learn and expand your knowledge and the extent of your current exposure should not be viewed as a downside in your journey imo. It’s never how you start ,but only how you finish that matters. Good luck!

Most of my basic learning of cryptocurrency has been basically with friends and peer groups with common interest…I just had to move a little bit further through research I found this a little bit helpful
