8. Plena wallet
Introduction
Plena Finance is the only a multi-chain Non-custodial wallet now that uses account abstraction. Ethereum blockchain support two type of account, one is smart contract and another is Externally owned accounts (EOAs) which is users account (your wallet address) and is fully controlled by private keys (seed phrase). As We all know loss or compromise of private keys can lead a loss of funds.
Account abstractions unifies both contract account and EOAs to make account (your wallet) more programmable and logic of signing transaction is abstracted from account itself.
So the bottom line is if you create a wallet in plena wallet, you are creating a programmable smart contract wallet with enhanced security that also eliminates the cumbersome native token requirement for transaction execution. i.e. if you want to swap from USDT to USDC on polygon, you don’t need Matic to execute transaction.
