— What location did you choose for your server, and why? Which provider?
— Why do you want to become a member of AIT3?
— What difficulties did you encounter during registration, if any?
— What day did you install the testnet node?
— How many people do you think have applied for AIT3?

Пишу на русском, через переводчик, не знаю как оно там будет…

  • местоположение сервера, по моему мнению. особо выбирать не приходится. где место позволяет и главно. где цена приемлема для каждоо. это мое мнение…
  • интересный перспективный проект, который уже заявил о себе как достойный конкурент эфиру… почему нет?
  • при самой регистрации трудностей уже не было, тем более регистрация не первая…)
  • узел установил 24.08.22… перед этим внимательно следил за происходящим.
  • думаю больше 10 тыс. … но надеюсь на удачу…)

some people said that server in Africa is unusual and unique, but they are hard to get and they are more expensive than in other locations

there are two kinds of people : one kind is everything make on first day, other on last day :rofl:

Here a quick feedback from Jovar

  • I choosed Helsinki by Hetzner, because they have good and cheap servers.
  • Because I want to test the new testnet and be a part of AIT3.
  • There was no diffucult, it runs very smoothly
  • Installed in second day after the announcement.
  • I think there wil be 7-10k registrations.

I chose Helsinki from Hetzner, but I think and already see that I am not the only one ;

I took such a server because if I pass, I want to test the network qualitatively;

Everything in principle went well and was established quite simply ;
Installed on the third day after the announcement;

I think there is every chance this time

I rented a server, but I’m wondering: I have a computer that meets the requirements of AIT, but could I install a node so that it works on a computer? Decentralization in Ukraine, I wonder - it would be a useful solution for Aptos, what do you think? I didn’t do it, but the idea popped up

learning process for me as this is my 1st time running a validator node

some of the command not working, have to ask the community inside discord & telegram

2nd day after the official AIT3
— How many people do you think have applied for AIT3?
Im not sure. Dont have any data.

In Ait2 were wishing node runners ~ 10-12k
in this - we don’t know about how many)
it’s fine that there are channels in telegram and discord where you can turn for help, moderators answer important questions and the community helps each other.

Congrats to everyone that got picked. I am patiently waiting for AIT4. Hopefully get picked because project seems interesting do have some concerns about it being backed up by a lot of VC but let’s see! Do love what it is trying to solve!
