Dogecoin has experienced a rapid increase in community spam to the point where it is now processing more transactions than the Ethereum blockchain. Developers have managed to code strategies for creating Dogecoin tokens that function in much the same way as Ordinals and BRC-20s, but with “D” instead of “B”. While there is some legitimate activity on the Dogecoin network, speculators are primarily minting Dogecoin tokens through one or two wallets that support them. Even when taking into account Ethereum transactions, they still far outnumber Dogecoin ones.
