My name is Kay and I am a teacher of computer science at a comprehensive school (more or less voluntary). As this is my first time teaching this subject, I would like to get your opinions and suggestions.
In particular, I am interested in how best to teach my students crypto and especially Aptos as L1. As these topics are becoming more and more important in today’s world, I want to make sure that my students have a good foundation to navigate these areas. Perhaps importantly, the children are aged between 14 and 18.
As part of this community, I have the opportunity to benefit from your expertise and experience. I would be very happy if you could share your ideas and suggestions on how I can best teach these topics. I am also available for discussion or face-to-face meetings to gain further insight and perspective.
Again, a demand:
Can anyone recommend a textbook or similar on crypto? Is there, apart from here, an education-area for aptos that have been written in a way that is understandable for pupils?
thank you @braniack. however, to be honest, I am also a little afraid of not meeting the requirements. I am caught in the middle between: what do the children need and what do the children have to learn because the government wants it that way? difficult… but I stay tuned
That is also the reason why I asked for literature or content…
Hey Mr. teacher Kay,
great to read your focus and your efforts regarding your students. Did your students already interact with crypto?
All the best Chris
Hi Kay,
It’s great that you are already preparing children for the future of crypto and want to pass on your knowledge also of the blockchain rebels, among other things. I would have liked to have a teacher like that
I think that the absolute basics will already bring the children to their limits of understanding. It’s all very abstract for them.
I am thinking of taking them to airdrops. Anything that is free. To get something in, to connect to a wallet and to use faucets… I think something like that would be useful for a start.
