Celestia airdropped over $10,000 worth of $TIA to developers.
The trend for rewarding devs with large airdrops has started!
Want to grab your share? It’s time to deploy smart contracts.
Ready to dive into smart contract deployment on Base? Follow my thread below
Smart contract deployment is an excellent activity, and here’s why:
• It is incredibly cost-effective, with the deployment of a smart contract costing less than $1.
• Moreover, an increasing number of projects are now rewarding developers more generously than regular users.
To start deploying a smart contract, follow these steps:
• Transfer 0.0013 ETH to the Base network on your MetaMask.
• Visit Remix at Remix - Ethereum IDE .
• Click on “New File.”
• Name the newly created file “Base smart-contract deployment.”
After creating the file, let’s move forward with writing the smart contract:
• Copy the code from this file: code for Base Smart Contract deployment - Google Docs
• Return to your file on Remix
• Paste the code
To begin the deployment process, follow these steps:
• Navigate to the “Solidity Compiler” tab.
• From the dropdown list, choose the compiler version 0.8.0.
• Click on “Compile”.
Once a green checkmark appears after clicking, you can move on to the next step
Now, let’s proceed to the final step of deploying the smart contract:
• Go to the “Deploy & Run transaction” tab
• Click on “Environment” and choose “Injected Provider - MetaMask” from the list
• Click “Deploy” and confirm the transaction in MetaMask
Congratulations! You have successfully deployed a smart contract on Base.
