Binance Removes ADA, MATIC, SHIB, LUNA, LUNC and 18 Other Currency Pairs

The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has announced the removal of certain margin trading pairs from Binance Margin. The pairs being removed include Cardano (ADA), Polygon (MATIC), Avalanche (AVAX), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Chainlink (LINK), Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Dogecoin (DOGE).

Binance’s official announcement on November 1st indicates the removal of cross-margin and isolated margin trading pairs starting November 9th. Pairs to be removed include BCH/BUSD, ADA/BUSD, AVAX/BUSD, BCH/BUSD, DOGE/BUSD, DOT/BUSD, FIL/BUSD, LINK/BUSD, LTC/BUSD, MATIC/BUSD, and SHIB/BUSD. In addition, AGIX/BUSD, APE/BUSD, BAKE/BUSD, FRONT/BUSD, GALA/BUSD, LUNA/BUSD, LUNC/BUSD, OP/BUSD, RUNE/BUSD, TRB/BUSD, USTC/BUSD, XLM/BUSD and YGG/BUSD are also subject to removal as of November 3.

Starting November 9th, Binance Margin will close positions, auto-settle, and cancel all pending orders on these cross-margin and isolated-margin pairs. Users are strongly advised to close positions and/or transfer assets from margin wallets to spot wallets prior to the end of margin trading on November 9, 2023 at 06:00 (UTC).

In addition, users are asked to close positions and transfer assets to spot wallets to avoid potential losses. It was also previously announced that Binance had withdrawn some major liquidity pools including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), BNB, Cardano (ADA), Polygon (MATIC), Solana (SOL), Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Dogecoin (DOGE) ).
