well i think L1 will be stay as it is. if ETH stop all L2 EVM stops. Solana is also launching their L2 EVM support. Near already has EVM Aurora. L1 will stay unharmed.

L1 will still be a force to reckon with no matter what.You can never destroy a foundation without destroying the building.
