Add the Martian or Petra Aptos Wallet extension to your browser. It is currently available for Chrome and Brave browsers. Click “Add to Chrome” to add the extension.

Then click on the extension menu and enter your wallet PIN for quick access.

In both Petra and Martian wallets, you have the option to create a new wallet or import an existing wallet using a seed phrase. Since we are setting up a new wallet, click “Create New Wallet”.

On the next screen, you will be prompted to set a password. Set a strong password for your wallet, agree to the ToS and click Continue.
The next screen will show your 12-word seed, which is very important. Copy it to paper, hide it in a safe place and click “Continue”.

On the next screen of the Petra wallet, you will be prompted to enter a seed phrase. Enter your phrase exactly as you saw it on the previous screen and click Continue. That’s all. Your wallet is ready to use. On Martian, complete the notification and click Continue. Ready!
As you can see, the wallet is very similar to Metamask. At the top, you have the option to select a network. Just below you will find your account information, which is your Aptos wallet APT address. Copy the APT address to receive APT tokens, NFTs and other APTOS ecosystem tokens.
In the Martian wallet, just like in Metamask, you have the option to add your own tokens. You only need to add the address of the token, which you can find in the Aptos explorer.
