Aptos node version v1.2.4
The latest version of node added exponential backoff to reduce wait times for full nodes in low-bandwidth environments. It also added some performance optimizations to reduce latencies and better handle wait times.
Additionally, Aptos will now be able to enable functionality described in its AIPs 1, 2, 3 and 4. Considering the features introduced, the new version has the potential to drive further growth for the network, which seemed to be in good shape.
