Any update on aptos names

Hello everybody
I purchased my domain names last at 5aptos and since then there have been silence i think it current sells for 1aptos [max characters]

Now i have been wondering what benefits or utility have been added to domain names aside from simplifying transfer of assets.

Am I the only one lost in terms of the progress made?
