Any clear guideline for running a validator node? -> solved now

More and more people, including me, are interested in running a validator node. But it is very difficult to find a reliable guideline about how to do it. Does it have to be a highly trained software engineer or developer? It would be beneficial if the team posts a Q&A-type guideline about it. After reading the guideline, community members (especially those who never ran a validator node before) can determine whether it belongs to specialists or is accessible to non-specialists.

…if it’s already posted, can anyone post a link in the reply? Thank you.

edit: reading the replies, I think it’s a win-win situation. Some community members want to learn more and contribute to the Aptos ecosystem as a validator. The team can recruit more members by opening the door wider. Any missing point here?

conclusion: I found all information here → https://aptos.dev/
If you want to run a node, read it.

Yeah… I wonder if it belongs to the computer scientists only or not.

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. By the way, I just realized that I can vote my post by myself… haha. Just voted 1, hoping that the team can respond.

I am pretty sure you can learn anything if you put your mind to it.

I agree. Also, if the task requires a high-level knowledge + skill set, probably, the team wouldn’t let us do that, right?
