You are great, mate! You did an excellent job posting the tutorial on Medium!
Currently I’ve managed to set up the validator node however, while checkin the status (https://ait.aptos-node.info/), I realized there are no peers. The rest is fine, but no peers.
Is that an issue for elegibility? How to fix it?

You shouldn’t public your ip address anywhere for security reasons. Your port is closed or busy. Try netstat -tulpn | grep LISTEN to check the necessary ports
